At CPL Aromas, we are proud to celebrate a truly special milestone:
25 incredible years of partnership with CAFOD. 💚💜

What began back in the year 2000 with a £7,000 donation has flourished into an outstanding £5.6 million contribution, helping to fund over 75 CAFOD projects across more than 25 countries. This long-standing collaboration has not only supported vital initiatives worldwide but has also shown us the profound difference that collective action can make.
Celebrating Together
In September we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the CAFOD team to Innovation House in the UK, where they shared powerful stories about the projects we’ve supported and the lives transformed through them. It was an inspiring and eye-opening session that reminded us all of the deeper purpose behind our partnership.
Across CPL divisions, colleagues joined the celebrations with brunches, plenty of cake, and a special global webinars with CAFOD. From learning more about who they are to hearing the incredible impact of their projects, the day was filled with energy, reflection, and pride.
At Innovation House, a panel discussion with CAFOD members gave us the chance to connect even more closely, as they shared moving insights from their work that truly brought these projects to life.
As a thoughtful keepsake, every colleague received a handmade keyring from Bangladesh, crafted by one of CAFOD’s partners whose work we support—a small but meaningful reminder of the human impact of this partnership.
Continuing Our Commitment in 2025
As part of our ongoing initiatives alongside CAFOD in 2025, CPL Aromas teams have been taking part in several sporting and fundraising activities, including the London Marathon and the Big Lent Walk. These collective efforts not only strengthen our bond as a company but also reinforce our shared purpose: supporting communities and creating real change.
Some of the key CAFOD projects we’ve contributed to this year include:
- Every Second Counts – Strengthening resilience to alleviate the impact of hidden and protracted emergencies (Colombia, Middle East)
- Bangladesh – Climate-induced migration and modern slavery
- Bolivia – Supporting clean water and healthy land in Indigenous communities.
- Colombia – Protecting and defending human and land rights
- Liberia – Improving livelihoods for smallholder farmers through increased cassava yields and market linkages
- Democratic Republic of Congo – Improving socio-economic conditions of households through income-generating activities in Goma
- Guatemala – Strengthening networks of women and people with HIV for peace and security in Verapaz
- Nigeria – Empowering women through sweet potato production in Plateau State, East-Central Nigeria
We were also thrilled to witness the inspiring journey of Ramon Juvany, who recently won our internal photography competition. As part of his reward, Ramon had the incredible opportunity to visit the projects we support through CAFOD in Bangladesh, accompanied by Wendy Pickthall and CAFOD staff Farzana Fidai.
During their visit, Ramon and Wendy witnessed first-hand the impactful work being done by our partners, UBINIG and OKUP. They were deeply moved by the dedication and resilience of the communities they met—a reminder of the tangible difference our support helps to create.
We are so proud of what has been achieved in the last 25 years and grateful to CAFOD for their tireless efforts to make the world a better, fairer place. Here’s to the next chapter—25 more years of impact, partnership, and shared purpose.
