Nuntiya Wattanaarpa

Perfumer

Perfume is the art of turning invisible feelings into something you can breathe weaving memories, emotions, and dreams into an unforgettable scent.

Nuntiya Wattanaarpa is a Perfumer at CPL Aromas Far East, based in Thailand, with frequent travel to Hong Kong. Born in Ratchaburi and raised in the Thai countryside, she grew up surrounded by nature, traditional Thai flowers, and fruit orchards. These early sensory experiences shaped her strong connection to scent and continue to influence her creative work today.

Nuntiya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Silpakorn University and began her career in the cosmetic industry, working across R&D and fragrance evaluation roles. She later gained commercial experience before joining CPL Aromas in 2010 as a Trainee Perfumer. Through intensive in-house training, she developed both her technical and creative skills, and today has many years of experience in the fragrance industry.

For Nuntiya, fragrance represents freedom and continuous discovery. She particularly enjoys the stage of creation where she selects notes and ingredients to define a scent’s structure and identity. She is drawn to floral compositions, preferring ingredients such as rose, jasmine, mimosa, and narcissus, which she values for their versatility, femininity, and ability to blend beautifully across product categories.

Beyond perfumery, Nuntiya finds inspiration in cooking, flower arrangement, reading, and travel. She believes these passions help her stay open-minded and fuel new ideas. Looking ahead, she sees the future of fragrance moving towards greater sustainability, emotional connection, and innovation, supported by new technologies and more environmentally friendly creations.
