Dominique Preyssas is a Director of Perfumery in France at CPL Aromas, and renowned for his technical skill and impactful compositions. Originally trained as a chemist, Dominique molded his passion for fragrance from a scientific career to perfumery, refining his skills at ISIPCA and later at the prestigious Roure Bertrand Dupont Perfumery School in Grasse.
His career spans several major fragrance houses before joining CPL Aromas in 2003. With decades of experience and a global portfolio of best-selling creations, Dominique continues to shape the fragrance world with a balance of scientific care and artistic instinct.
Deeply inspired by innovation and modern raw materials, especially new-generation amber molecules, Dominique brings both aesthetic vision and technical expertise to each project. He is a passionate collaborator, known for building strong relationships with clients and creating scents that speak to brand identity and emotional character.
Outside the lab, Dominique draws inspiration from tennis, golf, and travel, finding unexpected connections between them and scent. A dedicated member of the Société Française des Parfumeurs, he remains actively engaged with the evolution of perfumery, embracing sustainability, storytelling, and the emotional power of scent.
