Sebastian Reuter

Sebastian Reuter, Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas Germany, discovered his passion for fragrance at a young age. Growing up he was drawn to the scents of plants and flowers in his garden, experimenting with extractions and exploring aromas alongside his talent for fine arts. This curiosity sparked an early interest in chemistry and later helped guide his future career.​

Sebastian trained as a skilled worker at a chemical plant in Leipzig before earning a degree in chemistry. During this time, he pursued perfumery through internships and persistent applications, eventually securing a trainee perfumer role at Bell Flavors & Fragrances. Over 16 years, he gained extensive experience and developed the Middle East business before joining CPL Aromas Germany.​

Sebastian’s approach blends scientific understanding with creativity, allowing him to craft fragrances that are both technically sound and emotionally resonant. His early experiences with plants, flowers, and home-made fragrance experiments continue to influence his style, emphasizing curiosity, experimentation, and attention to detail.​
