Julien Rasquinet, Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas France, has been captivated by the world of fragrance since he was just 14. His journey began with a business degree, but a transformative internship in New York ignited his passion for perfumery. Notably, he became the last student of the renowned perfumer Pierre Bourdon.
In the challenging landscape of 2008-2009, Julien took a bold leap as an independent perfumer, gaining invaluable experience during a turbulent time in the industry. During his five-year tenure at Creed, he broadened his expertise across a diverse range of olfactory traditions, including crafting acclaimed fragrances such as Royal Oud, while contributing to the house’s rich and varied global portfolio.
Julien’s journey took him from the bustling streets of Dubai, where his work received recognition, to the artistic hub of Paris. After a decade split between these two iconic cities at another fragrance house, he now brings his expertise and innovative spirit to CPL Aromas, continuing to shape the future of fragrance.
