Esneda Vela

Esneda Vela, our Perfumer in Colombia, grew up in Bogotá surrounded by the smell of different fruits, flowers and the changing weather. She immersed in fragrance from a young age due to her father's role in the industry, studied Chemistry with a focus on perfumery. After discovering the analytical world of fragrance at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, she joined CPL Aromas in 2008, initially in marketing and later in sales. With a stint as a technical manager, she transitioned to perfumery, continuously learning for the past 7 years.​​

Esneda finds joy in discussing projects with customers, translating their ideas into scents. Her favourite ingredient is Vetiver for its smoky woody note, creating a noticeable effect in fragrances.​​

For Esneda sustainability is the present and the future “it is part of our commitment with the planet and CPL promotes it, not just in the fragrances we create but, in the culture, it is part of our DNA now.​​

Beyond perfumery, Esneda's passion lies in traveling, exploring new cultures, savouring diverse foods, and drawing inspiration for fragrance creation.​
