The Global Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing in-house all of CPL Aromas’ social media channels around the world, including creating the strategy, generating all content and managing paid marketing campaigns, to ensure consistency of messaging and building of our brand awareness. This role will partner with Marketing, Sales, Perfumery/Evaluation and R&D/Operations team members to create quality and engaging content. This role will also create and publish the actual posts, including their design (with tools such as Canva). Based on results, this role is expected to be able to build a Social Media team in the long term (>2 yrs).


CREATE A CONTENT STRATEGY FOR OUR GLOBAL CHANNELS

  • Develop solid and reliable social media strategy, processes and practices, ensure consistent & positive brand representation across platforms, according to our brand guidelines
  • Identify key calendar moments, campaigns, conversations and partnerships to make an impact
  • Explore and evaluate emerging content platforms and tools to build strategies for implementing effective campaigns
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to generate engaging content
  • Oversee our brand awareness, the social media community, and develop engagement for our channels

CREATE AND POST OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT

  • Ensuring campaigns are delivered across key channels and leading on social strategy for brand activity and campaigns, reposting on socials and findings.
  • Co-ordinating organic social content across key campaigns, planned activity and ad-hoc activity.
  • Work to ensure business involvement with the generated content
  • Tracking the growth, engagement and performance of our social media accounts, as well as those of our competitors, to understand our effectiveness; and communicating findings in a clear and actionable way to inform the wider marketing team.
  • Set up appropriate media monitoring tools to track performance optimization & trends
  • Provide reports and insights from social media & digital campaigns

MANAGE PAID SOCIAL CAMPAIGNS

  • Work to amplify existing posts or create ad-hoc posts for our campaigns on LinkedIn
  • Start Google keyword advertising
  • Optimise constantly our efforts to get better ROI

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Digital Marketing and Social Media, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • Professional qualifications are an advantage.
  • 4-6 years of experience in social media marketing and experience in social media for international market(s) highly desired

Skills and Knowledge

  • Digital savvy with good knowledge of social media platforms and content optimization.
  • Expertise in digital content creation including design, editing & proof reading.
  • Analytical thinking - Data-driven mentality to ensure optimal utilization of social media platforms
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative– builds strong relationships internally and externally with a positive attitude

  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Any additional major language other than English an advantage
