Andrés Yory

Andrés Yory is a Junior Perfumer at CPL Aromas Latin America. He discovered his passion for the fragrance world in 2009, when he began his career as a weighing laboratory assistant. This early hands-on experience sparked his curiosity and set him on a clear path towards becoming a perfumer.​

For Andrés, the creative process begins with respect for raw materials. He approaches them quietly and attentively, taking time to connect with their scent and character. He believes a fragrance is more than a smell; it is a link between scent and memory, capable of awakening deep, instinctive sensations that enrich human experience.​

Driven by this philosophy, Andrés values working with a broad palette of ingredients, seeing it as a way to explore new sensory landscapes and push creative boundaries. His approach combines technical precision with emotional depth, aiming to capture the subtle yet powerful ways scent can move, inspire, and transform.​

Outside the laboratory, Andrés finds balance on the tennis court. The discipline, focus, and commitment he brings to the sport reflect his approach to perfumery, where passion, persistence, and a constant pursuit of excellence guide his work.​
