Kamila Lelakova is a Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas and a new-generation creative with a deep appreciation for the power of scent. Her perfumery style blends classical French training with modern creativity, shaped by her European background and a passion for nature, travel, and craftsmanship.
Kamila began her fragrance career in Suffolk, UK, working in evaluation at AFF, a family-run fragrance house later acquired by CPL Aromas. This foundation in understanding consumer needs laid the groundwork for her transition into perfumery, where she trained in the classical Roure method and earned an ICATS Diploma in Aroma Trades from Plymouth University.
Since joining CPL Aromas in 2019, Kamila has developed a broad and distinctive portfolio, working from the UK office on a wide range of projects, spanning both fine fragrance and home applications, and is particularly passionate about the technical and creative challenges of candle formulation.
Kamila finds inspiration in the world around her, from memories of growing up in the pine forests and mountains of Eastern Europe, to her extensive travels across the Middle East and Mediterranean. Her style is rooted in balance, blending traditional perfumery structure with contemporary ingredients and techniques.
