Reflecting on the pivotal moment when I first smelled mandarin essential oil, I was captivated by its freshness and juiciness. It was then that I realized my true passion lay in creating fragrances that capture the complexity of nature.
Daniel Vargas, Junior Perfumer, born in Bogota, Colombia, pursued chemical engineering at University, initially intrigued by the world of chemicals. His interest in perfumery materials began as a hobby during his studies. After completing his bachelor's degree, Daniel joined Symrise as a laboratory assistant in the fragrance division, where his love for perfumery truly blossomed.
Reflecting on the pivotal moment when he first smelled mandarin essential oil, Daniel was captivated by its freshness and juiciness, realising his true passion lay in creating fragrances that capture the complexity of nature. In 2017, he joined CPL Aromas Dubai, learning the art of blending ingredients in various roles and from a team of expert perfumers.
For Daniel, the allure of perfumery lies in storytelling through the sense of smell. He is dedicated to conveying both reality and imagination through olfactory experiences, intertwining stories with emotional memories for those who wear his creations.
